If you died tonight, would you be in heaven or hell?
The Bible says in Romans 3:23, For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. That means all of us, every single living person has sinned. In Romans 6:23 it says, For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. This means eternal death and separation from a Holy God. But, God gave us a free gift paid for by Jesus Christ's death, burial and resurrection from the dead. John 3:16 says, For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. This simply states that God loved His creation so much that He sent His only son to earth to live a sinless life and if you will only repent and believe in Him, you will have everlasting life. Romans 5:8 says, But God commendeth His love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. This tells us that God proved His love to us even though we were all born sinners. Jesus Christ paid the ultimate price for our sin by dying on the cross. And finally, in Romans 10:9, it says, If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. This plainly states what must be done to receive eternal life. So you see my friend, the simple fact is, we all are going to live forever in eternity. Which will it be for you?
